- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆The owner thinks he is the only place around. I would say he is price gouging the people of this small community. On an average everything in the store you will find IS 10 CENT TO 60 CENT MORE EXPENSIVE THAN OTHER STORES AND THE GAS PRICES ARE 20 CENT TO 40 CENT MORE THAN OTHER STORES. This Shell Station is off the 129 mile marker off I-26. People don't know if you are heading I-26 West go to the 119 exit and you can find way lower gas prices and lower prices on stuff in the stores. You can also west to the Cayce / Swasea exit only about 5 miles more toward Columbia and you will find cheep gas and several places to eat. If you are going I-26 East you can go to the 136 mile marker and find lower prices there I think hours are like 6am to 9pm Monday - Saturday for sure. Then at the 139-East there you will find a 24 hour Polit Staton With Good GAS PRICES AND it also Is A Truck Stop With Several pumps for truckers, and has an Arby's connected to the station not open 24 hours. Then you can go to the 145 mm exit where you will find several gas station and places to eat. There is a station off that exit that is a truck stop it is a 24 hour station along with a couple more 24 hour station off that exit. So my opinion it is worth driving another 10 to 15 miles in either I-26 East or West to save yourself a few more dollars and not stopping at the Shell Station off the 129 exit. Plus the other exits will also give you more options on stations to use, and will give you options on places to eat.By Keith Gunter, February 20, 2017
